The first couple days were pretty chill — mostly just boating around — but once things kicked off, it was amazing. The one downside is the whale shark stop. They get fed there, which is super unethical. I really wish we could’ve seen them in the wild, the way they’re meant to be. Feeding them keeps them from migrating and can mess with their mating and overall wellbeing.But the Komodo part of the tour? Unreal. Pink Beach was stunning, we saw deer roaming around, and the baby sharks were honestly the cutest thing ever. Bring sunscreen and bring patience — you’ll need both.Huge shoutout to our guide, Roul. That’s my guy. Five stars for him and the whole crew. They absolutely made the trip. Only thing I wish is that some of the other guests were more mindful about not touching the coral.Food was solid, though the breakfast could use a little upgrade. We slept in the private room — they promised air-conditioning, which of course didn’t exist. We saw see turtles, baby sharks, different fish and of course they Komodo Dragon.Roul and Akbar aswell as the other crew are super cool and I enjoyed the time on deck with them.The food was plenty (maybe because we were only five guests), tasty and very healthy.Unfortunately the AC in the cabins wasn't working so we slept in the more ventilated cabins.Other than that I had a great experience.Posted on TripadvisorVerified Great tour! Had everything we hoped for!! Just got back from an amazing trip. We saw so many cool things: sharks, turtles, mantra’s, dolphins and of course komodo dragons! The boot was great, it was not fancy but it had everything you needed! The food was amazing, the sunsets stunning and the views unforgettable. But essentially the guides: Roul and Akbar made our tour! Roul was more than just our guide he became a friend, such great energy from him and the crew. Memories of lifetime were made. As a solo traveler this was an amazing experience everyone became a family by the end. Amazing food, amazing service, couldn’t recommend this trip more. Please note this is a budget friendly tour, I love that they offer such an accessible experience and I love how adventurous it all felt. If you are debating, just book it already!
